Field Training Division

The LASD Field Training Division is a crucial part of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. This division ensures that new incoming Deputies receive comprehensive and effective training. Responsibilities include supervising, guiding, and evaluating new deputies as they transition from recruits to fully capable field operatives.

The division aids in the development of skills necessary for law enforcement duties, with a focus on ethics, integrity, and professionalism. It's where new deputies are shaped and mentored to serve the community with compassion and teamwork. 

Many great deputies whom are now SHRs have graduated the LASD Academy with flying colors, and has gone on to do wonderful things for the department.
